Noun This photo series explores the nouns that are used within the queer community. Outside the queer community this phenomenon is not known by everyone. These nouns are used to describe a body type by thickness or how much body hair you have. They came in to the community to create inclusivity but now nouns like this are sexualised and result in toxic masculinity, misogyny and eating disorders. The use of these nouns has made it so that the body is now sometimes more important than the person themselves. This categorisation is just the use of certain words, but it’s impact is still very big, even though in the end it is just a body.
